Elon Musk confirms that X was hit by a “massive cyberattack,” stating that the attack was executed with “a lot of resources” and possibly carried out by a “coordinated group and/or a country.”
Musk said his team is currently tracing the origin of the attack.

X appears to be back online after a 30 to 45-minute outage that caused a nationwide disruption. Details remain scarce, but as of 1028 ET, X feeds are operational again on various parts of the US East Coast, including DC to NYC.
Neither Elon Musk nor X has commented on the disruption or the cause of the outage.
